What you should know about us:
- We are among the few remaining Americans who have no cell phone, no Ipods, no cable, no DSL, no fancy TVs, no computerized camera, and no new car.
- We believe in energy efficiency (love 60 degree heating in winter and 80 degree cooling in summer), composting, and recycling.
- Our house is furnished with hand-me-downs, treasures from Salvation Army, and goodies picked up at estate sales and yard sales. Many of our clothes are also from these sales.
- We love duct tape! We have recently used it both to hold down the hood of our (old) car and to hold a light shade together in our kitchen.
- Saving money and trying to be gentle on the earth appeal to both us.
